B & H Engineering, P.C. has provided 1998 Biennial Inspection services of the Goethals Bridge 43 spans New York approach and facility building, as a prime consultant, for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
The Biennial Inspection included review of BIN folder, inspection and ratings for members and their paint condition; quality control, preparation of reports, inspection documentation, planning and scheduling inspection, inventory verification, coordinating inspection with ongoing construction contracts, planning and requesting work zone traffic control, and procuring access equipment necessary for inspection.
The Inspection report included condition summary, inspection findings and photographs, updating plans, sketches in lieu of plans, summary of major deficiencies, primary member ratings, details or situation requiring special attention during inspection inventory, flag reports and CAD drafting.
